No way! Our service is absolutely free to use, and you will never be charged for upgrades confirmed through HotelUpgrade.

What type of upgrades will I receive?

Will I earn my regular loyalty points and stay credits in addition to the upgrades I receive through HotelUpgrade?

Absolutely! We always ensure the hotel credits you the points and benefits you deserve for being such a great loyalty program member, plus our upgrades, which always include bonus points.

How do I get the best upgrades?

Hotels offer the most perks when you have five or more room nights, therefore we recommend planning ahead and booking future stays at once, and also confirming upgrades for your colleagues and friends at the same time. Just enter everyone’s reservation confirmation number in your HotelUpgrade app, or forward them to upgrade@hotelupgrade.com and we take care of the rest. Booking together has its rewards.

What hotel brands does HotelUpgrade work with?

We work with every major hotel brand including Hilton (HHonors), Marriott (Marriott Rewards), Starwood (Starwood Preferred Guest), Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG Rewards), and Hyatt (Hyatt Gold Passport), just to name a few.

My Company wants us to book through their travel department because they have pre-negotiated rates. Can I still use HotelUpgrade?

Of course! You will need to check your corporate travel policy to ensure that you have the flexibility to get reimbursed when you make your reservation on the hotel's direct website (i.e. Marriott.com, IHG.com, SPG.com, Hilton.com). We do not, however, honor upgrades for reservations made through Online Travel Agencies such as Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, Booking.com, and Priceline.

What if I did not receive the promised upgrades during my last stay?

We’re sorry! Please send us an email at concierge@hotelupgrade.com with a quick description. Please be sure to include the name of the hotel and confirmation number in your email. Remember, if you shortened the length of your stay, you may not be eligible to receive all of the promised upgrades.

Why don’t I see upgrades offered at my favorite hotel?

We are working hard to get you the upgrades you deserve at your favorite hotels! Please send us a note at concierge@hotelupgrade.com so that we can work to include your preferred hotels.
